To the best of our current knowledge, no data protection officer has been appointed. You can send privacy-related requests directly to the email address above.
2. Purposes and legal bases
We process personal data only where legally permitted. The legal bases include Article 6 (1) (b) GDPR for pre-contractual enquiries, Article 6 (1) (f) GDPR for the secure and functional provision of the website, and Article 6 (1) (c) GDPR for compliance with legal obligations.
3. Hosting and server log data
This website is hosted by IONOS SE, Elgendorfer Straße 57, 56410 Montabaur, Germany. When the website is accessed, technical access data may be processed, including the requested file, referrer URL, browser type and version, operating system, device type, time of access and IP address.
This processing serves to provide the website securely, reliably and without technical errors. It is based on Article 6 (1) (f) GDPR. The storage period depends on the technical configuration and statutory retention and documentation obligations.
A data processing agreement pursuant to Article 28 GDPR must be concluded and kept up to date with IONOS for processing carried out on our behalf. Further information is available in the IONOS privacy information.
4. Contact by email or phone
If you contact us by email or phone, we process the information you provide, in particular your name, contact details and the content of your enquiry, to handle your request and respond to follow-up questions. The legal basis is Article 6 (1) (b) GDPR if the enquiry relates to a contract or pre-contractual measures; otherwise, Article 6 (1) (f) GDPR. The data is deleted once the purpose no longer applies, unless statutory retention obligations or legitimate interests in documenting the matter prevail.
5. Forms and downloads
The current website does not contain a form that transmits data to our server. The brochure and sample report are delivered as files by this website. If a genuine enquiry form is activated in the future, this privacy policy will be supplemented before activation and the relevant information will be provided directly at the form.

The video buttons either link to the associated external information and video pages (Vimeo or SV Lücke) or to the ECO scanner video delivered locally by this website. No external video players are embedded on this page. When you visit an external page, its own privacy information and cookie and consent practices apply.
7. Cookies and analytics
According to the current setup, the website does not use its own non-essential cookies, analytics or advertising software, or profiling. If IONOS WebAnalytics or another service is activated in the future, this policy must be updated before activation.
8. Your rights
Subject to the statutory requirements, you have the right to access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability and to object to processing based on legitimate interests. You may withdraw consent at any time with effect for the future. The lawfulness of processing carried out before withdrawal remains unaffected.
To exercise your rights, please send a message to carl@thetascan.de. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority. In particular, the Commissioner for Data Protection and Freedom of Information of North Rhine-Westphalia is responsible: www.ldi.nrw.de.
